"Thanks for the wonderful Moab trip. I
especially enjoyed the Fiery Furnace hike and the moonrise shooting at
Delicate Arch. To me, your dedication to photography and your willingness to
share your knowledge really separate you from the other photo tour leaders. I
thoroughly enjoyed your workshops, and as a matter of fact, I am trying my
best to organize my vacation days to coincide with one of your workshops. So
hopefully I'll be participating again in 2010."

"Thanks for a great workshop --- it was a perfect
blend of theory and practical, hands on, experiences."
Jack Cohen
"Having attended Richard’s Photoshop and Lightroom
workshops as well as at least 4 of his photo trips, I can recommend both. My
knowledge of digital photography from capture to print has been enhanced
thanks to Richard’s ability to transmit knowledge and his willingness to share
his expertise. The trips are well planned - a week devoted to photography with
other photography enthusiasts in exciting locations – how much more can you
ask for??!!"
Jean Parboosingh, Canmore
"My understanding and experience while on your
lightroom course has greatly enhanced my photography workflow. Your teaching
and help has resulted in gains in my photographic endeavours. Your tradition
and technology course was the greatest improvement to my photography over the
last several years and took me to the next level. Thanks."
David Thompson
"Both of your photo workshops that I attended were
amazing. I learned more in the two days than in any other course to date. The
information was easy to understand and the class size was small with lots of
time to go over items that needed further explanation. I like that fact that
you were able to explain settings to eah person regardless of the model of
camera they were using."
Sherry Benko
"Richard is an excellent teacher who is able to relate
well with his students. His calm, patient teaching style is a breath of fresh
mountain air. I recently attended his landscape photography workshop in
Canmore and learned so much more about planning and preparation. I really
enjoyed the locations Richard tool us to and his local knowledge of the best
times and places to shoot really made for any enjoyable, informative and
relaxing weekend."
Bruce Clark
"On recently attending your weekend workshop in
Canmore, it was much more than expected. I thought it would be 2-3 trips to
photograph, followed by some in house critiquing. What was a pleasant
surprise, was the amount of classroom instruction where I picked up some very
useful tips on selective focusing thru my auto focus mode of my camera. Also,
the morning shoots using the neutral grad filters and being able to purchase
same. I got some pictures, especially the 3 sisters under pink clouds and Mt
Yamnuska reflections that I am quite proud of. The small group atmosphere was
nice, as the group mixed well and by providing the breakfasts and lunches we
socialized more and made better use of our class time. Thanks for an enjoyable
and learning experience weekend."
Brian Hayward
"It has been a long time since I've been to a workshop
where I actually felt that I had taken the next step in my understanding of
photography. Your grasp of each individual's station on the learning curve &
you ability to address them at that level, was amazing. Your leadership in
organizing, adapting to changes in circumstances & looking at the glass half
full, gave us all energy to look forward. Your teaching & empathy for fellow
photogs went beyond expectation. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
Many thanks."
